Street Creatures – November 10, 2017

I’m thankful that wildlife, in all its myriad forms, adds immeasurably to our quality of life. Apparently, the NYC subway system agrees, having commissioned a glass mosaic for the Jay Street-Metrotech station in downtown Brooklyn that depicts  species that have made the city home and one disappearing native son:  tiger beetle, European starling, house sparrow, red lion fish, monk parrot, and koi.
