Okay, so I underestimated how long it would take to unpack while also teaching, advising graduate students, interviewing new work-study students, traveling, serving as the editor of a journal, finding my way around a new town, doing laundry, bathing, feeding myself, and even sleeping now and then.

I wasn’t able to write a new post for this week, but I’ve made enough progress that I feel certain I’ll be able to sit down and write this weekend.

Yes, I definitely think so.


I hope.

I’ll try to make it worth the wait.

  1. The other morning before the hot sun started baking the day, I saw 1,000 or more ants going back and forth on a long crack across my double drive way. One way they carried eggs.The other way they were “empty-handed.” They got the job done. Best wishes,
